FIRST Robotics Competition

Combining the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. We call FIRST Robotics Competition the ultimate Sport for the Mind. High-school student participants call it “the hardest fun you’ll ever have.”

Our mission is to provide students a unique opportunity to develop STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and non-technical skills in a collaborative, realistic setting, through real-time development, organized competitions, and service to the local community through education and building mobility devices for children. To be successful at robotics competitions with the spirit of Coopertition, using our best efforts while practicing gracious professionalism.

We have 2 in-house FIRST Robotics team in the Makerspace and it may get crowded. We’ve spread out their schedules to ensure both teams will not occupy the space at the same time.

We will make adjustments on our usage based on the number of members who want to use the space while our young roboteers are actively working.

Build and Competition Schedule (Jan to April )

Build Season starts on the first week of January and lasts until the end of February. The Makerspace will be extremely busy during this time. Competition Season follows from March to April and the teams will only be busy if the robot needs repairs or upgrades.
